Great pizza, a reasonable beer selection at a good price, and quick friendly service. Although it would be nice if they could offer credit card payment I understand the reticence of losing profit on credit processing fees. Just remember to get cash at the ATM across the street.

Was visiting friends in East Pete and ordered pizza from Gargano's for takeout. Pros- thin crust, was hot a fresh when we picked it up. Cons- EXPENSIVE!! $35 for 2 pizzas, one plain one pepperoni. Cash only, they don't take credit. My local guy in Leola sells a takeout special - 2 pies for $18.99. For $35 for two pies I was expecting a huge pie or the best pizza in Lancaster. The pizza is good but not great. At these prices I wouldn't be back.

Great lunch and very friendly service! You can create your own pizzas with almost anything. The crust was amazing!! Everything is made at the restaurant is fresh. Unfortunately they do not do delivery and it is CASH ONLY!!

The best food I've ever had. I ordered cheese pizza and cheesesteak sandwich they are both very tasty and the portions are really huge! Very very satisfied and will definitely come again.

A Lancaster County staple for many, many years! This cool little joint on the square in East Petersburg has great pizza & subs. Also, they now serve beer & wine, and have an impressive collection of crafts & big beers, something for everyone. A bit pricy for the food, but the quality will beat any chain restaurant any day of the week!

don't let the outside appearance of gargano's fool you. while the outside might appear a little sketchy, the food on the inside is top shelf. this place is basically the only reason to stop in east petersburg. the pizza we had had an excellent sicilian-style thin crust. i also sampled a pita sandwich from a friend & was astounded. for something that comes out of the kitchen wrapped up in crumpled foil, it is amazing. i would definitely suggest the cheese steak pita, although you should request the provolone cheese on it instead of the american cheese it typically comes with. if you're looking for a great pizza or great sandwiches, gargano's is definitely the place to go.
